LCMS Registration Authority
We now operate in a world where everything is connected, but nothing is implicitly trusted. So, if zero trust is the framework for modern cybersecurity, then what’s the solution? The truth is, there is no one solution, but it starts with identity.
MicroSec's LCMS Registration Authority ensures all of your connected devices are secured, hardened, and transparent at all times
PKI & Certificate Management
Issue X.509 digital certificates to devices. LCMS Device Authority connects to any Certificate Authority (LCMS CA or others (e.g. EJBCA, Microsoft ADCS) and acts as a broker between the CA and the end entities. It allows issuance of certificates through standard protocols such as EST, SCEP, CMP, ACME, KMIP.
Device Management
Take control over your critical devices with LCMS-compatible MicroAgents. Manage all configurations and assets such as host firewall rules, packages, security configurations, cryptographic keys & CA certificates. Works on Linux, FreeRTOS, bare metal and Windows.
Repository Management
Host your Linux, FreeRTOS, bare metal and Windows packages and firmware in LCMS DA' in-built repositories. Leverage on digital signatures for repositories and packages and achieve supply chain security.
Envelope & Supply Chain Management
Ensure any changes or updates to your devices are signed, sealed, and delivered correctly. With LCMS Envelope & Supply Chain Management, operators must digitally sign any form of data to enable a trusted supply chain for firmware updates, application payloads, control commands, authentication messages, and software packages.
Achieving Compliance
Fulfil compliance requirements like IEC 62443 4-2 and 3-3 by leveraging on LCMS's capabilities. Gain full control and full visibility over device enrollment, renewal, blocking/revocation, and retirement.
Workflow Engine
LCMS RA comes with an in-built workflow engine that allows creation of manual or automated workflows, customizable to your needs. Create reports automatically or block certificates when a certain condition is met.
Protocol & Device Agnostic
MicroSec's patented MicroPKI technology enables dynamic key exchange on constrained sensor nodes and IoT devices operating on constrained networks and IoT communication protocols commonly used in OT systems like BACnet, Modbus, NB-IoT, LoRaWAN, LPWAN, Zigbee, BLE, etc.
How does it work?
MicroSec's LCMS RA platform acts as a proxy between your end entities and the CA. The end entities can be physical or virtual devices that want to enroll to receive a certificate from the CA. To do that, they can be configured to use one of the industry protocols like EST, SCEP or REST APIs. Alternatively, MicroAgents can be installed on the devices to automatically manage the certificate lifecycle. Once enrolled, LCMS RA can be used to configure the MicroAgent based devices for cybersecurity protection and lifecycle management.
MicroSec's LCMS RA platform is available as SaaS in our MicroSec Cloud platform. If you want to run it in your own (airgapped) network, it can be deployed conveniently in any physical or virtual environment. In your data center or as a ruggedized appliance in your industrial environment. To achieve full security, MicroAgents can be installed on edge devices in your network.
